Caterpillar, Red Cross Respond to U.S. Disasters
The American Red Cross helps those in need after an explosion in West Texas and violent storms that recently struck the Midwest. Our deepest condolences to those affected by these disasters.
The Caterpillar Foundation will match, up to $200,000, Caterpillar employee, retiree and dealer employee contributions between April 22 – May 22, 2013. To qualify for matching funds contributions must be made online.
Donating online via this site qualifies you for the match automatically—no need to fill out an online matching gifts form separately.
The Red Cross was able to respond quickly thanks in part to the U.S. Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP). Caterpillar contributes to ADGP to help the Red Cross open shelters, provide meals and reconnect displaced residents.
Caterpillar is a member of the American Red Cross U.S. Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP). This program provides a funding base that allows the Red Cross to respond immediately to the needs of individuals and families impacted by disasters. The ADGP investment takes the place of Foundation donations to individual disasters in the U.S.
